Calvin C. Fong, MD, BA

Calvin Fong, MD grew up in LA and Ventura County. He received his BA in Medical Science and Psychology from Boston University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine. He enjoyed Boston very much, but he missed his family and the sunny weather. He was fortunate to return to Southern California to complete his Family Medicine residency at UCLA and will be taking his board certification exam in Family Medicine in July 2020. He has now joined the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine as a fellow and clinical instructor. He is very excited to learn more about integrative and East-West Medicine, with the goal of taking care of patients more holistically.

During his fellowship, Dr. Fong plans to learn more about acupuncture, mind-body techniques, nutrition, supplements, music therapy, and lifestyle approaches. In his spare time, he enjoys walking/running, watching movies, playing video games, and relaxing with his family and friends.
